Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Turf Wars R- spec challenge day 3-
A friend raced a Stella today in his boosted Rami for $250K. He spun the wheels on launch and lost $250K.
He raced the Stella again for another $250K and spun the wheels on launch again and lost another $250K.
He was very upset as he doesn't remember the last time he spun the wheels in his Rami. He is a solid player and has been playing since October last year.
The driver of the Stella contacted my friend after the second race and said he was 'sorry' for taking his money.
My friend said "all good, tell me the secret"
The Stella driver said "nah, listen man ill give you $2M for your Rami"
My friend said "that's peanuts lol, keep going"
Stella driver, "no deal??"
My friend said "when I raced you for the big $$$, the game convieniently glitches. I will sell you the car for $100 if you tell me the secret"
Stella driver said "first sell me the car then ill tell you"
My friend never replied to him after that. He went on to race the remaining 4 hrs of Turf Wars this morning against other racers for similar dollars and never spun the wheels on launch. He fouls on launch, but he never spins the wheels on launch. So it's all very odd to him.
Make of that what you will, but it doesn't sound good. I have screen dumps of their conversation and have the Stella drivers user name.
Yeah, I reckon.

Really? I have never noticed, but I have probably done the same thing also.
I will definitely keep an eye out for it now and I might even try find the Stella driver and race him to see what happens.
