Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Alright, so here's my idea for a tournament. I think we should do an S Class tournament. We'll do other classes later, but this is the class I want to start with. So, here's how it works
-Everyone who wants to play must be a legit player, meaning you have at least one reference that I know or someone I know, knows.
-Entry fee for the first tournament is 750k for a 8 person tournament (held by yours truly,) which amounts to a 5.5m dollar payout for the winner (I just want a small 500k organization fee). Second and third place will get a maxed McLaren MP412C!
-After you say you are interested and we have 8 people, and payment i will randomly pair the names together. Here are my rules
**Boost is allowed.**
**If you DNF, rematch must happen. If you're disqualified, rematch must happen. These are the only instances where there should be a rematch. So traction loss, you probably lost, foul, you lost.**
**Three or more DNF's most likely means someone turned their phone off before losing, in that case, with three seperate screenshots the victory can be handed to the one who did not DNF.**
**The winner must SCREENSHOT his victory over his opponent and post it so the results can be verified, or, both can post verifying who won. If it turns to he said she said, I'll be going with who has the screenshot.**
**This is an elimination tournament, so if you lose, you are eliminated. Race well.**
**Only one race per matchup. No best 2/3..so the pressure is ON!**
Once the pairings have been posted (Which will be done religiously at 2:15 PM EST the day after the entry fee is received,) the entrants will have 24 hrs to complete their race. If anyone is having issue getting in contact with their opponent, let me know here!
