Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Bracket racing and a test track

I think this game would take it up another notch if they added bracket racing. That way instead of head to head racing and getting smoked because someone's a lobby hopper bracket race.
closest time to the set dial time wins rt adds time ext I think that would be really awesome to have.
And a test track that way we can practice our launches with cars!

We have discussed this idea. I will definitely let everyone know that players are interested.

    x2.

A test track, or maybe call it a "Team Track". Currently, our team members will practice race each other for launch and final tune settings. This way at least a team member is gaining the win money and SC.

    Thank You.

There has been a big demand for a practice track in RR, and I will happily let them know again! :)

Practice track yes bracket racing no. You can tell the lobby hoppers if you click on them and you can see their garage to see their cars. Do the work I do before I race I check their cars

While I don't really care to see bracket racing added, it would be an interesting addition, as a separate lobby. You wouldn't need to separate the cars by rating, just have a Bracket Racing multiplayer option. However, this would favor slower cars where exact timing on launch and shifts don't affect ET nearly as wildly as it does on hyper-fast cars, so it's appeal isn't all-encompassing.

However, I wanted to point out that even though I have a bunch of cars in my garage, including some fully-built monsters (that I still have yet to prefect my driving/timing with), I still prefer racing with my Class A, B, and C cars with mild to moderate tunes, as stopping to repair happens less often and is less painful. The key is just learning what cars look out of place in a lobby, based on the rating of your car. Not always easy, though, as someone might have a highly upgraded/tuned car that COULD be in your lobby if it was only mildly built or near-stock. Just don't bet big until you learn to weigh the risks. As the in-game suggestion that pops up frequently advises- "Don't underestimate another car- you have no idea what's under the hood!"

I think the main idea here is for a practice track so that you can test your car out without racking up enormous amounts of damage.
