Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

There needs to be a limit to how many accounts a player can have or at least remove characters like zero from the names. Players are making identical accounts with capitol Os and zeros being interchanged and scamming players using the "bait and switch" tactic which is just plain cheating. One acccount will have one car that is available to scout out and they accept stupid bets repeatedly and when you feel safe enough to pink them suddenly the car you have been beating is maxxed and when you look at the recently raced list you realize its not the same name but one that looks exactly like it. This is what i feel is an exploit that needs to be fixxed

    We are sorry to see you go, and wish you the best of luck wherever you game next. For anyone else wondering about cases like this, you need to look very closely and you can see the difference. I know sometimes in the heat of racing you don't always double check but that is what you need to do.

    The font on my device is very small. If there is a difference between a capitol o and a zero it doesnt show on a kyocera hydrovibe. They are identical. I cant believe the blame actually got put back on me. Strike that after my account got hacked and i was first told it was a connection issue then told that account security was my responsibility i do believe it. I didnt even complain or demand it be made right, I pointed out a change that needs to be made to avoid players being cheated. Theres no double checking. Until you get hit by the second account you have no way of knowing it exists. Not my problem anymore i suppose. Im just saying this is an exploit that needs to be fixxed
