Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
can someone explain to me the lobby placement
so for the most part the cars in the lobbies seem even but every once in awhile ill match up against someone that's 1-2 whole seconds faster than everyone else, i cant really chop this up to a 50 hp boost either. whats the deal?
also what mods do and dont cause me to change lobbies? is there a set hp increase amount that governs the lobby placement?

Second, in normal race rooms, yes, you can join friends. Does that make it a bit unfair at times, yeah I suppose, but you just need to be vigilant in who you race in that room. Just think of it as real street drag racing... you never really know whats going on under your opponent's hood.
As for Turf Rooms, you can't join friends. So the playing field should be even.

The problem with this system for me is that, it's a old rule from Nitto Legends and V1, only race the same car as you and don't take your car to the track until its got the best setup in it. As soon as I enter the race screen I am flooded with races from B class cars. You have to decline all of them. It's just not fun to look for minutes for a race. So that's why I think they should change the lobbies up a bit and at least separate them by class. But anyway. Yeah you can tell before the race if your going to win or lose and sometimes even if they'll accept or not. If you send tC to tC they will accept. Those Civic Sis just find a way to beat the tC. Civic Si probably the best car to have in this game. BMW M3 GT2, stock, only Stage 3 weight reduction mods. It will have like 500 hp and weigh like 1950 pounds. It's R class they'll put you in lobbies with like, B, C, a, no other Rs. Just decline RX7s, and you can beat everyone else. This is a pretty good game. I like to play for maybe 10-20 minutes then go back to garage and pay cash to fix the car which costs like $2000 in R class max. and like $30 in D class. then it takes anywhere from 1-24 hours to repair. Just wait it out. anyway try that out. and don't bet just race for funs and let your money pile. It's pretty fun. Of course if you are blessed enough with money to spare to spend it on Gems and Cash from the in game shop! It must be nice
