Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Hey all!
Just wanted to give you a little update on the state of the forums.
We know you aren’t happy with them, and we wish they worked better. We’ve tried several things to try and alleviate some of the issues, unfortunately the results were less than stellar.
So for the past few weeks we’ve been shopping around for a new more for our forums. I’m pleased to say that after checking out a few places, we found one we really like, and they work really well with us.
So here is the plan. In the next week or so we’re going to perform a test migration of the forums. You won’t notice a change on your end. The forums will still be located on the same site while we copy everything over to the new site. Once that is done, we’ll test it out ,making sure everything changed over smoothly and that the features all work the way we want. Then we’ll make the switch over. This should only be a minimal impact to you guys. We’ll probably have a new forum website address. After that, we hope that new functionality and performance will allow us all to have a greater presence than before.
We here at Glu are busy working on more game titles. Some of them involving racing. We felt that instead of having to create new accounts for all these games, it would be better for our fans to have one login account with access to each and all of the Glu Racing Titles. So what does that mean for the Racing Rivals forums? Nothing much. We will be changing the look of the forums to match the style of our other future titles. It will simply just be a facelift. All posts and accounts will be intact, it will just look new, with a few additional features.
I’ll let you know the progress as soon as I can.

Going back to what you said about having 1 account for all games, well like me and most people, we have secondary accounts to make money faster, get more cars, etc. What if something happens like if you connect 2 accounts to gamecenter and you lose access to one of them? This is possibly my favorite iphone game and I don't want that to end. Secondly about making new games. I think its good that you guys are making new games and all but please don't do something stupid like racing rivals 2. Finally, lower prices of gems and mills (since you can buy them much cheaper on here), do more gem giveaways(once a month?) and finally BRING BACK THE LOGIN BONUSES EVERY DAY. It was great to get free gems/cash every week just for signing in. Other games have it like Gran Turismo. Plz change the game to make it better and more logical
