Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Im not new to racing rivals I have been playin for a year or so now but I am at the point where I want to start competing seriously in the turf wars. I kno their are turf tunes available but I just dont get how they work, I was racing with a maxxed McLaren on the current turf wars and it keep putting me in the bottom of the turf lobby. So I am racing against maxxed lambos and such cars and I don't have any chance.any help is appreciated.

yea bud turf tunes put you in certain lobbies. turf tune will be a tune that puts you in lobby where you are high as possible rating for that lobby. example of lobbies are like 1630-1635,1635-1640,1640-1645,1645-1650,1650,1656,1656-1663,1663-1668,1668-max. a car turf tuned to 1663 will put you in 1656-1663 lobby and you will have as much power as you can without going into 1663-1668 lobby. its all about tuning to highest as possible without going into next lobby and being slower car in there. in my opinion maxing a car is only good in car specific events unless its a dominate car in class or maker events. I don't pink cause of all the glitching and restarts so I have every car at a max tune and rating below max so I can get most points per race. hope this helps you.

also when tuning a turf tune it is possible to have high and low of same rating. example: you can have 1656 and be high 56 in 1650-1656 lobby or you can have 1656 low and be put in 1656-1663 lobby. that's where specific parts can be installed or uninstalled to achieve rating desired. that's purpose of a "turf tune".
