Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

from what i have seen turbos seem to be. ive had 2 same cars one with turbo one with supercharger, the car with the supercharger was slower at the beginning and came on strong at the end of the run, the turbo was faster the whole run. but, in the end, both were running almost identical times.. from my experience with them. maybe others will say something different.

Turbo has that extra lil push it needs to be faster than the supercharger...

It really depends on what kind of tune your going for, and what lobby your tuning to.

You just have to pay attention to added weight to power . If your going for a low tune , some cars are better going all motor. Sometimes the added weight of a supercharger isn't worth the power gain.

Superchargers add the same horsepower for less weight at the beginning, and they are cheaper with less parts to upgrade. For a maxed car however, Turbos seem to be faster.

Turbocharger almost every time. More parts to upgrade = more power.

I find it depends on the car myself, a turbo in a smaller car is way more affetive and cheaper to repair but when you ht the higher classess superchargers have really worked for me!! I bought both 4 the viper the supercharger runs 0.200 faster, no nos either helps with already heavy cars but good in small class d and c! only bad thing about supercharger is the charger upgrades are heavy so i just upgrade the pulley! the class 2 part 4 charger is way to heavy! not much more power!! Turbos do more enginne damage aswell!!
