Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

The "Cancer"

Its like nowadays everyone legit is turning into a scammer to be honest its very **** stupid. I never been scammed on here I take my deals very serious and follow the rules when I first joined I believe I sold a supra for 400k and that was bought by merk210 aka m e r k
So far the legit people Ik are on my wall and soon only they will be the ones I do business with. I just hope RR doesn't die of this "Cancer" because its a really good game.

They took the vouchers away and the new guys are turning scammer. People think because they have ten vouches they have a lot but in reality that's when these scammers turn. They would do 10, 15 legit deals then turn. It's classic really. But without the vouch page it's just so much easier to do. Us "old timers" aren't turning. But I agree you can't trust many people anymore. Oh, and m e r k hasn't been his ign for some time now!

It sucks. Be careful. If you aren't comfortable with the deal just don't go through with it

i just want to make the point that every person should know a scammer by now, i go first almost every deal i make, but i dont make a deal without proper vetting of player i wish to buy from.
If you were scammed, you let greed blind you to a good deal, it was your own fault.
(also, i only leave my Voucher to players that displayed an honest intention to do business. so if you see my voucher, you can be sure i trusted them.)

(this does not apply to a legit player turning scammer, there are no tell tale signs for this action.)

Yes thats true people must do their research on people before trades but like @FORREST FORREST GULP said someone can be legit for a while but scammed at the end like lets say a person has 45 vouches all legit on those deals but one he's scams anyone that is or isnt legit can become a scammer in a deal. @Sharkbyte

A lot of times you can tell the shady ones though. I had a feeling about mrtodd and I was right. He was very very pushy with big deals and seemed disappointed when I always had more vouches lol. Plus he never remembered anybody! Seemed weird to me. Guess I was right lol

I have a circle of probably 10-15 guys i have dealt with for a long time- apart from these i don't often deal, and certainly wouldn't go first unless they're a pal of mine that i know very well. It's also that stooooopid gem name change thing that's fuckin the game in my opinion.

Stay legit- you know it makes sense! ;)

Merk and shark are legit for sure I have done buisness with both in the past. Over past year never have I seen anything bad or shady said about either. Two legit dealers I never even had to worry.

I also suggest having a vouches thread as those can not be edited like the ones on your wall
