Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Need to be able to see car ratings before races

There needs to be something showing you the person who challenging you or who are challenging car rating.
With lobby jumpers and pinks. I lost my maxxed R35 last night when someone said they were 68 and they we 77...

    no, cuz it would ruin the game. If you lost it, then next time don't pinks lmao. You pinked cuz u wanted to win his car. He pinked for same reason.

    Or u can just have ur car maxed and think the worst case is that his car is maxed so can ur maxed car beat his maxed 1 and if it can then pinks :)

    just like real life street racing, they can tell you they have whatever may even let you look at it, but until you line them up and run, you dont really know what they have..

    Lol. There is a saying. "A real racer never shows what's under the hood". And that's for a reason guys. Just like u won't lose any cars in pinks, u won't win any either. In my opinion, I think a lobby should be within 10+/- of the lobby rating though. 1630-1650 in a 1640, that will limit those maxed 166X+ evos taking noobs on half stock scions and darts lol

    @vladdroid i agree with you to an extent, but in stead of it being a +/- 10, they should keep it just the way it is, but lock it down, to if your out of that rating you cannot get into that lobby.. so a 30-35 lobby you have to fall into that range otherwise you cannot get in at all. just my opinion.. even if you want to race with a "friend" you still need to fall into that range to get into that room. i think it would just make it a little more fair.
