Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

light delay which is really eating the community its done specially by android users when they press home button wait for 15 seconds or more then come back suddenly
so when is glu planning to solve this issue?
i need a straight answer from a glu employee please we r losing cars to those glitchers and please if others got something to say discuss it no need for stupid answers or assumptions

As for "light delay" or "light lag" that is a part of the game unfortunately. It is a part of the joys of playing a live synchronous multiplayer game. Rivals runs on timers, within those timers the game needs to establish a sync between 2 racers so that the race is fair. If something prevents a race from being fair, the game delays the lights until a successful sync is made. Nothing can fix this without an abundance of complaints coming in.
besides the synchro should not wait for more than 10 seconds when someone joins a room really abd it should really cancel race if one of the parties didnt join for 15 sec or assumenthe one whos on track isna winner because the other party didnt join instead of providing us a tie situation
ok am not a softwear programmer BUT is there a way to avoid this ?
