I've noticed that there are differences in perspectives on races. For example, from my view of a race, I may beat the guy out of the hole and have a two car lead, only to have the guy blow past me and win the race. Then, when I watch the spectator replay, it looks like my opponent was ahead the whole time. What gives? I'm wondering if RR gives the false perspective so a racer will keep trying. Also, there are differences in perspectives between racers. I've raced friends, and again, from my perspective I beat them out of the hole and they end up passing me and win the race. When we compared notes, he reported that from his perspective, he was ahead the whole time. So why is there differences in the perspectives on races?
