Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

So this turf I been using some m2 re's in 50,56,63 and 68 lobby's and every time time I hit a good time I get a tie!! I've had this happen before in my s2k re's- so why would you introduce a car that runs too fast for the lobbies??
It's soooooo annoying! Win a race by a long way and not getting the points.
These cars are quick as hell and well tuned, but what's the point when the game doesn't let me win when I do win ??
Times these cars run are
1650- 9.3
1656- 8.6-7
1663- 8.1
1668- 7.6
Now, those are quick times- but lemme win when I win glu pleeeeeease!! Lotta points lost this turf due to this.
Is it being looked into?
Come on glu- you introduced these cars- can you fix this please??

:(

1650 m2 going under 9:410 is a tie .. I think ...I had this problem with a jetta ... wouldn't let me go 10.1 ...then I raced this other jetta and the guy went 10.1 ..didn't make any sense...I smoked him first but said tie race...then he smokes me and win pinks

I have seen the same problem, with both the M1 and M1 procar. pretty annoying. If Glu wanted bracket racing, i'd think they could have done it easier, without screwing with people

@crazyjr , ive been thinking the same thing for quite awhile about the bracket racing. that would be a huge improvement, and you wouldnt have to deal with lobby jumpers so much. everybody could be in several large lobbies, and its all set up bracket style..

So basically, if your good enough to tune, and drive, the m2 re to a fast time the game just tells you to bugger off you lose? That doesn't hardly seem fair at all. That's probably why I've seen so many people selling those cars, because with those issues they aren't worth the hassle...

@Koaleader171 exactly! You find yourself having to slow down your times, just so you don't get disqualified! Annoying!
And it really needs fixing asap.

It does seem quite unfair. I mean what's the point of even owning the car if you can't use it to its full potential? Doesn't seem to make sense to me.
