Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I keep getting bad lag - have to push repair about 5-10 times for the car to actually start repairing - sometimes it tells me my cars have engine damage even tho they stock - game just decides hey guess what - have a restart randomly - I mean all in all the game is running like a pos
Until these issues are fixed I won't be wasting my time and I certainly racing if I can't crush.
I would expect for them to try and address the pinks issue today but I do think we need to prepare for a weekend without pinks worst case scenario.

No matter what we try to do or asked everyone else here to do.. it would make no difference. The best thing to do right now would be to spread word as to why this happened and to ask everyone to be patient while the admins do what is best for the game.

@eXxPLoSiOn: My common sense tells me or hopes admins don't make such drastic changes to the game. that said, I surely don't know what to believe any more, all i know i hope the game doesn't get to what that post is stating because i am done as well as i'm sure a ton of other players would be and that to me would hit GLU in their pockets in a negative way.
No, we don't plan on removing pink slip races from the game... that would be silly considering what this game is about
No, we aren't limiting pinks to 2-3 an hour, that is absurd. Please.. everytime someone posts something like "I know a guy!" or "Someone within the company told me this..." it will be debunked. I've debunked them many times and none of their rantings come true so who you going to believe? I've told the community many times, I may be vague at times, but I will never lie to you.
