Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I would like to be able to see what my cars rate will be after I put the part on BEFORE I actually install the part...gets annoying when you have a car at 55 and add a part...wait for install to finish, and end up at 57 (just an example...applies to all lobby rates) can't you guys put sumthin in game that would let us know ahead of time what finished rate will be if we install a part ? I think it would be very helpful

I'd go further and say show the exact effect of each part on the rating ;). Makes pre-calculations possible and the game more playful as you could then decide whether to go for that engine part or this intake part that would have a similar effect....

Max tuning in this game is by far easy... It is lobby tunes, that make it hard for people. I tune with an excel spreadsheet. I don't like the idea where it shows you the rating before hand.

If you think of each part as a decimal number or percentage of a rating
    [ie] exh stage 1 = .3 and stage 2 = .4 and a pro part = .6 of a rating...but
understand a bigger part to a car like a tranny might be have each stage worth a little more than an exhaust or cam
    [ie] tranny stage 1 = .6 stage 2 = .7 and pro tranny might be worth .9

And you clicked and installed 3, stage 2 parts, let say, intake, exhaust and a cam... the game would only show you the rating go .4 of a rating, before your parts installed, and it would actually go up 1.2 ratings after all 3 were installed. Which still leaves you in the situation you are in.

The parts are tricky in this game.. If you take a stock WRX concept (non turf) and installed a stage 1 downpipe, it will actually downgrade the stock rating of 1651 to 1650 and with boost, tires and susp puts you at 9.45 runs @ 1650.

Also tho, if you are at 1657 with a maxed turbo set up... CCCACC tune... I would try to install a CCCABC tune or something... instead of uninstalling a part, you are just downgrading a pro part to a "shittier" pro part...Which in returns makes your rating shitter, in this case 1657 goes to a 1656 which is the goal.
I have a 9.4 2006 Showroom WRX tuned, with "not the best choice pro parts for the turbo, and it keeps me in a 50 lobby, if I move them to a CCCACC tune, I am 1651.

Hope I made sense and it may help.
