Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Customer Support Issues.

I feel that there is an issue with Glu's Customer Support that needs to be addressed. Many emails that have been sent from me to them, have never been responded to and I think I speak for many others. I just thought I would say this, in raising awareness for past, present, and future players. Hopefully word spreads around that this is an issue and it will hopefully soon be resolved. Thanks.

    It has been 3 weeks since, and no response. I know, I have sent many emails, and nothing has been returned in game or email. I understand what you are saying and appreciate it, but I have done everything you have already said.

    What is your IGN? Are you actually sending an email? Email is probably the slowest way to get a hold of Customer Service, because unless you are very specific in your email, they go into a hole of emails that include emails for every single Glu game. Those need to be sorted and that takes forever. The best way to get a hold of CS is via the "?" in game. Unless your ticket is a duplicate of another issue, CS responds within 2 weeks on average. The first response would be an auto reply acknowledging that we received your ticket and that there is a wait.

    Responses can be seen by again tapping on the "?". They do not reply via email using this system.

    Hello Jarrett!

    After checking the records, I can tell you that there is no ban on your account. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot your issue:

    1) FORCE QUIT THE APP

    This involves closing the app completely. Swipe the Racing Rivals app off the screen to close it. Or refer to your device's instructions on how to close an app.

    2) CELLULAR DATA

    You could also try disconnecting your device from the internet by either turning off WiFi and/or turning off cellular data. Then reconnect.

    3) REINSTALL

    Additionally, issues of this nature can sometimes be resolved by a reinstall of the app. If your account is associated with Google Play or Facebook you should be able to pick up right where you left off. Accounts not associated with Google Play or Facebook can become de-synched if there is an update or if you need to re-install the App. In order for us to re-sync an account with your device we will need to replace a racer that is associated with a Google Play/Facebook account.

    If you do not have a Racer associated with Google Play or Facebook please follow these steps:

    1. Delete the Racing Rivals App
    2. Create or Log onto the Google Play account or Facebook account you want linked to your Racer
    3. Reinstall Racing Rivals and Launch
    4. Select which account you want to link your Racer to (Google Play or Facebook)
    5. Create a new Racer (this will be temporary) and name it
    6. Reply with the following:
    * Google Play Account or Facebook link (the link to your Facebook page):
    * Racer Name linked to this Account:
    * Racer Name you need restored:
    Once we have the information we will replace the racer on your Google Play or Facebook account with the Racer you want to use. Please note that while each account retains its cars, cash, gems etc., we will be unable to transfer anything from one account to the other.

    If you uninstall and reinstall and find yourself on an old Racer or a brand new racer, please reply with the following:

    * Google Play Account or Facebook link (link to your Facebook Page):
    * Racer Name linked to the Account:
    * Racer Name you need restored:
    Once we have the information we will be able to continue troubleshooting this issue with you.

    REINSTALL DIDNT WORK

    If you are still experiencing issues please provide us with the following:

    * Google Play Account:
    * Facebook Link:
    * Racer Name:
    * Device:
    * Operating System:
    * Cellular Carrier (if any):
    * Playing on WiFi or Cellular Data:
    * Is your device jailbroken:
    * Do you play from a personal/business/school WiFi network:
    * Area from which you play: Country, State...etc.
    * So we are clear, please reply with the steps you've tried to resolve this issue:
    Please attach a screenshot of any error messages you may get as well and we will further troubleshoot the issue.

    If you are using an older device (3+ years old) you may experience problems running the game due to the age and power of your device. In these instances we can only recommend you make sure to have plenty of free space on your device and run no other apps at the same time. Unfortunately, for lower powered devices this is all the troubleshooting support we can provide.

    Thank you for putting time and effort into my unfortunate situation. I understand there are many issues in the community and cannot be attended to all at once. However, through the many tough and aggregating times my Racing Rivals App has came around. Today I have been able to log on and play the game at full function. I was stuck in a tournament loop and was gaining money quite quickly before the game malfunction. Leading me to assume it was possibly banned as I had done research and found it could have triggered an auto ban. But as you have reassured me, it wasn't a ban. After many attempts at uninstalling the game and logging back in after almost a month I am back playing. With that being said, I am assuming it was a possible glitch in the tournament or something of that matter. But whatever it was it is over now and I am back playing with my friends and others of this great community. Thanks once again for your time and effort into trying to get me back playing again.

    @Big p what I did, was, to log into your account on another device, and it will still be stuck. However when you try to log into your account on your main device, it should take you to your garage. Hope that helps! :)
