Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.
However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.
On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.
In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
A friendly warning for GLU
Ok, if you decide to give out compensation for the recent problems, just make sure it DOES NOT have a free car. Because we honestly shouldn't have another car have its value butchered due to everybody getting it for free. No rude intentions meant

As for the Cobra Jet, it's a vehicle that had been used many times over and the game was already over loaded with them. When they had said they were going to release it at first I was a bit concerned because I knew it would drop the value of the turf versions but in reality the turf versions were already selling for just a bit over $5.00 each and now they sell for a bit under $5.00 each. It gave everyone something to be happy about and to mess around with so I think in the end it did exactly what they wanted it to do.

Showdown, 1 race last week I got 100 gems. Why do you think they are reverting a lot of the update, their pockets are being hit.
Just because you don't doesn't mean the happy player base doesn't.
It's better to make a little money of 2m people than to make more off 2 thousand
I'll answer, it hit them in the pockets, that's why they are changing things.
This isn't about a trading system, don't get off topic.
It's about giving cars lowering the value of cars we earned through crates or turf.
Above I meant not supported, but then I referred to the player economy. Insert a not in there, the "but" should have given you context.
Trades are not supported, as well all know, but the community at large still trades. We matter regardless of your belief that we don't. Everything glu Is doing now shows I am speaking truth.
You said you lived the free car, trades aren't supported. I guess you only care about you, and not the community. That doesn't surprise me though
It's about i choose when to take the hits, I don't need it choose for me.
I'm glad you think we don't matter, I think it's you who doesn't matter
So if Glu does not validate trades of any kind, they are not obligated to police it. None of your arguments work, in a business sense. Glu would have to hire people, to police a feature that will be more trouble, than it's worth to them
Once again, I'm talking about them issuing cars, devaluing other people cars.
I'm talking about you saying as long as you get yours, no one else matters
