Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Racing Rivals on Twitch

Hi Guys,
I have finally got twitch to give it it's own section. I have just started streaming Racing Rivals and it seems to be really fun. I want to bring more exposure to the game.

I have been sharing Turf Tunes, tips and tricks as well as crazy Pinks Races. AND the best part of all... my Doge Plays better than I do.

To help gain exposure I am going to be raffling off a few nice cars :) All you have to do is be in the stream @ 7PM Saturday Night (GMT-5) and hit that follow button.

Hey there! Can you advise - what device are you playing RR on? I'm curious about being able to twitch / live stream the game from a device, and how that works.

This is awesome! I'm sure the forum would appreciate a "how to" as Roush asked for - and would love to hear about all of the interesting things you learn as you walk down the twitch road! I'm going to go hit that follow button so hard!

    Nice!

I'm thinking about creating an "Official" Racing Rivals Twitch channel to do some live racing broadcasts and what not

To clarify - I know how to broadcast a twitch stream, and how to watch one. What I don't know, though, is how to broadcast a twitch stream from the same device that I'd be playing Racing Rivals on.

Okay I'm at work at the moment when I get home I'll definately make a setup tutorial.

But in the meantime - I play on iOS either iPad or iPhone. I use lonely screen on my pc to mirror my screen to my pc. I then use OBS to capture my monitor and broadcast it over too twitch.

@Ryyst think Twitch and a official YouTube would do a bunch for the game as far as better exposure

Hmmm , I think I may try this. I run hundreds of high stakes turf car pinks and high rrc races. Doesn't seen to difficult.

Running the game on Twitch is a great thing, congratulations on getting a Racing Rivals channel!. I've been streaming on Twitch for about 6 months while playing the game, it's just been slow, without the right game label.

I'm really looking forward to this
