Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

I'm thinking of getting an Nvidea Shield tablet. Does anyone know if RR supports this device? and also if the controller can be used?

Yeah I was actually thinking about getting it but Rivals is so terribly optimized I cant really buy it without thinking it will just run Rivals like trash cause if my V20 and Note5 have issues then the Shield could easily be worse

I run rivals on a Galaxy S5, Galaxy S7, and Nvidia Shield and the performance on the shield falls right in between both the S5 and S7

@SpeedTrapp In terms of specs, its actually in between those two. But is it a smooth 60 FPS?

Ram is 2 GB but the graphics cards and processor are designed for video gaming. The S5 has 2 GB of RAM and the S7 has 4 GB. But the nvidia tablet is pretty much a barebone google OS with no Samsung bloatware. I runs RR pretty smooth. I also play CSR2 on it and Asphalt 8 on it with no issues.

Yeah, the K1 has a Tegra K1, 2 GB Ram, and a 256 Core Keplar GPU. I do feel the 2 GB of RAM would be a bottleneck when do seriously heavy gaming but I think I may check it out

And my Galaxy Note5 has 4 GB RAM and as far as I see, Samsung's software eats most of it up. Same for the V20

Check out the reviews of it on the net, it blows away any Android based tablet for that price
