Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Can we get an un-official list of "tie game" racers?

I know there might be times when it actually is a server error, but since there is a known way to make it happen, chances are it's gonna be intentional. Just how we have an unofficial scammer list, this can be a list of IGN's that you might consider staying away from... because who knows when it'll actually get fixed.


Yesterday, back to back races with the same guy in different lobbies, I won a pinks race and got a tie notification. I know it wasnt a server glitch because I won two pinks before him and one right after with other players.

    I think his name was tuanig or something like that me and 2 of my teammates all pink him and all got a tie.

    Frank0023 and luisJdm005, both same thing, this is obviously a game exploit the developers haven't figured out yet.

    NAGEYOLI just did it to me. I've raced him a lot, nsx v nsx. I have definitely beat him more often. I told him I didnt want to pink anymore until the glitches are fixed, since I had lost a couple due to a non-working launch button. He tried pinking me anyways and ya know... peer pressure, haha. Anyways, I had a perfect launch, took him easily. In the middle of 5th gear my screen freezes for a second so I start tapping shift because I dont want to bounce off the limiter. I end up shifting to 6th early and on my screen, at the last second, he passes me. But then the race ended up a tie. I think he tried to bail at the last second and caused my screen to glitch.

    Same thing happened to me vs nicole68 i think. Tied twice in a pinks race and i was way way out on them

    Guess this thread will die, as it will become the norm for people to do this. I think it would be easier for us to come up with a list of people who won't use this exploit.

    Unfortunately you might be right. Ryyst already made a post about it being difficult(maybe impossible IMO) for them to be able to tell if it's a genuine disconnect or an intentional standby. I say now that we've witnessed the opposite of the DNF issue... DNF is definitely a lesser evil. If the auto-DNF isn't reinstated, then iOS users will never lose.

    there was one from the last kings that even pulled this bs towards the end of the turf, im not going to call her out because I saw her lose several cars to this glitch but in the end she resorted to doing the same bs
