Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Too bad I sold half my account to buy another RHD CR-X in real life lol. I bought a 93 RHD CR-X del sol EG2 to match my 89 RHD CR-X siR EF8.

First (3) light/chime for rev drop. 7k RPM shifting! You actually feel when V-Tech kicks in. I'm impressed! Guess I will take two in Red!

Funny thing is 91 Crx si didn't come with a vtec motor. Only the si-R in japan came with b16 vtec motor. The first vtec double over head cam motor to be interduced to the public was the integra GSR 1.7 motor. A De stroked 1.8 liter motor that would become a 1.8 dohc GSR motor and type r motor in 1994.

Yeah. But Honda wasn't releasing any vtec motors till obd2 emissions came into effect. Acura held it under thier wing to keep from losing customers.

You know that Acura is just a luxury Honda, right? Plus, the 92-95 integra's were definitely OBD-1, and were DOHC vtec. 92-95 civic came with sohc vtec motors as well. OBD-2 setups are straight trash.

Honda released OBD0 DOHC B16A first in the 89 CR-X siR and 89 INTEGRA xsi. NO SOHC vtec was prior to that. Till EG SOHC vtec in japan and North America.

First B16 equivalent in North America was OBD1 B17A in the 92-93 Integra gsr. Next was the 94+ CRX del sol with the b16A3. Then 99+ CIVIC SIR B16A2.

Also the B17A block deck height is the same as a b16a. Basically a stroked version of the b16a. Not even close to the same deck height of a B18C or B16B .

I was stating DOHC vtec in general. The U.S. debut was the '91 NSX.

B20 has the same deck height of B18C and B16B. Just using 84mm cylinder walls. Making it 2000cc
