Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

My Personal Letter to all who are complaining

Hopefully you will read this objectively before commenting but this is what I've got to say: y'all need to calm your jets. Think about everything that has happened. Most of the issues have been fixed and are getting better everyday. Being "compensated" does nothing for you. Some of you guys are going off the handle and not offering any solutions or inputs- you only asking for a handout from your "heartache". Yes there are issues, yes stuff needs to be fixed, yes people need to be punished, but WTF ARE YOU DOING?!? YOURE NOT HELPING BY SAYING GIMME GIMME GIMME! Bad people are everywhere and it makes life shitty, doesn't mean that the "gov't" needs to bail you out. We are all at fault- you don't lose several cars and thousands of gems and millions of dollars in one bet- you are responsible for your actions as well. I've lost plenty too but that doesn't mean I need to start a mob or rant and rave to prove my point- all that will happen is the crumbling of the entire community by rioting (or maybe nothing because there is plenty of other players that don't need "us). Just calm down- report the issues- they're working on it- and above all - RELAX ITS A GAME! People invest real money into real life (think stock market/ real estate/ etc) and lose their ass all the time to crooks and swindlers- it happens. All I'm trying to say is act like a reasonable person (since many here aren't adults which is cool) and give information that HELPS what you want accomplish. Don't bash it just because there was a "mistake". You can't be mad a CIE for not being perfect- be mad at the scammers for being lowlifes in a cell phone game.

    im not asking for "gimme gimme gimme." i didnt ask for one thing back. we all know that this game has issues the needs to be fixed, but everytime an update comes up to patch a problem something worse comes out. i spend real money to play this game and so do lots of members on here. maybe cie needs to figure out what they need to do to those people who hack/exploit/glitch. maybe do a perm banned and watch where all the cars are being transferred to.

    Aznryda: I wasn't directing my post to any one person and I do apologize if it sounded like that. It was just a more generalized statement to the forum. and I won't contend bigger issues keep showing up either, it really sucks. It is really bad that people that spend real money to get where they are are getting slapped in the face by the scammers but I don't think that lashing out against CIE would fix anything. It happens in real life everyday and people just need to relax a little, I mean, it is a game lol. However I do absolutely agree there is faults that NEED to be fixed so we can play as intended. And all I would ever want is a fair playing ground to see how good I really am versus anyone else playing.
