Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Cie or glu... Announce turf events earlier in the week so I can spend more time tuning cars up... Hard to turf and tune at the same time... I could see an influx of,cash if this were released on mondays

    You are thinking that players are sitting around with turf tunes ready to go? I'm saying if they want to cash in more gems andnresources. People will spend if they have time to tune

    If this happens all the top teams with all the funds are gonna win. Then people are gonna complain that they cant get the Top 100 team cars. That's why this aint gonna happen.

    I agree with zephyr it takes away from the game. let's focus on the main issues first which I am proud and hopeful to say will be very soon, hopefully in the next two weeks.We give them shit and we should, cause everyone needs a little crap given to them to keep them on track and hopefully it leads to great results. I think CIE took a lot on and didn't expect to become so big and that's something to be proud of. Next time just never put a time-frame on something cause we will tear at you like vultures, cause were human.HAha Mainly connectivity I pray they worked on across all platforms. As for graphics I could care less. Excited to see the wealth and knowledge of both parties(CIE and GLU) together, and believe it will lead to a very successful game not only in wealth but also for sweet ass game play for good! Either way can't wait I am excited! The turf is set up good. As for the leaks those people should be fired. It happens too often, stop leaking it out Snowden. HAHA anyways good job CIE and big thumbs up to the new mods, you guys seem to be doing good so far, not very much complaints whatsoever. Also three thumbs up to Ryyst for answering and being involved a lot now.
