Over the course of the last five years, Racing Rivals has grown into one of the most hardcore racing games in the world. This loyal community has spent countless hours competing in millions of races in “winner take all” fashion – all in the name of Turf Wars and pink slips.

However, all good things must come to an end… After spending time evaluating Rivals and its future – we’ve decided that it’s time to move on. Simply put, the revenue generated from Racing Rivals unfortunately no longer covers the cost of operations. This was not an easy decision to make.

On March 31st, 2019 – Rivals will be racing off into the sunset, and will be permanently shut down. Current players have until this date to utilize any accumulated virtual currency. We’ll be offering some massive reductions in the cost of crates, installs and repairs in addition to a reduction on timers as you race your way into the history books. Effective immediately, no new in-app purchases will be permitted.

In closing, a resounding and sincere THANK YOU to our extremely driven fans for your loyalty and dedication over the years – we hope you’ve enjoyed playing Racing Rivals as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Racing Rivals Custom Graphic Wraps anyone?

This was a big deal when they added the ability on Nitto Legends. the game had TONS of people making graphics. I hope its one day actually supported here on the game as something official, but at the moment, its an easy 3rd party tweak :) You admins know this is what I do :P

if you'd like to learn to do this, i have a youtube tutorial up, just don't know how much the admins will or will not like this. This is only visible on CLIENT SIDE (so you the creator of the graphic wrap), so this isn't anything harmful to the game -_-

    we cant stop you from doing it, and i personally have no problem with it I like the creativity. If someone wants to make me a Fox wrap for the copo camero then id use it! As for opening up the ability for everyone to make custom wraps in the game we have alot of licensing to worry about there, but maybe if we give you a list of cars we could do a competition....

    I was thinking about this actually and was going to do it in the group i run on Facebook eventually once i got some designers into it. Also, i'm guessing you mean Fox Racing. I'll dig into it, although I don't have a Copo Camaro, but i'll gladly make a wrap if i find someone who has one or if there's a way i can view it in game to get the graphic wrap.

    Although I will admit you guys were sneaky with this... Renaming the PNG extensions not only to jpg... but then the "number" after it. The number I'm guessing corresponds to if there's another wrap for that car, meaning multiple are available for a single car.

    And yes, this is Client side only.

    EDIT: realized you might be talking about the animal... lol

    Honestly, just car wraps in general, such as styles, patterns, carbon fiber, ect. Doesn't have to be logos that are trade marked. I definitely like the creativity here. Super dope. Would love to see this hit the game one day, but like Foxx said, there are definitely a lot of license issues.

    If we had like competitions (but without the program, it's too complicated) like drawings of some cars in RR and do whatever to it, basically like a blueprint of what it can look like from every angle (almost). I'm going to start working (drawing) on a M3 GT2 and see what I can do with just a few basic things and then transfer them to a professional art program on my IPad. This whole concept is making me feel like this will become a regular thing, seeing others themes and stuff and have one chosen to be a car on turfs or something like that. Too much thinking in my head, this is going to be cool.

    Honestly, for those who know photoshop and tools like that, its just the extra step to rename the file...

    Yeah i have an iphone as well, just can't find my 30 pin connector to do the tutorial for iOS. I actually did this first on iOS, but android is frankly easier
