I've heard this as well. If you go into a multiplayer lobby with a car, say you're in a 56 lobby. But if you use the same car and tune in a turf lobby it will be a 63 lobby. Have not experienced it myself.
I am noticing another change after tonight's Ferrari update. All of my Z28s have increased by 5 pounds. Maxed, ok fine. But now once again my TUNED 1656 Z28s are now probably slower.
I thought any changed going forward we would be notified about?

So tournaments WILL eventually be based on lobbies, like Turf? I like that I think it makes sense, however it may take a long time for a tourney to fill up then.

Yea exactly RJDM - it's a money factory for them. Can't see why they would do anything to prevent self crushing as they have nothing to lose. Unless other teams got organized and boycotted the game or something. Which won't happen either.
