Lost parts of my progress

Regular player here. Started the ne Spec Ops mission like usual. Game froze up on me. When I restarted,. I lost all of my prior paid-for/earned weapons from all my prior sessions. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Yes, it happens to all of us!
    It's one of the stupid things in this game and apparently all the Glu games.
