Oceanic Characters Damage Leaderboard not keeping track of damage

I have observed this same bug in all previous damage leaderboard contests. The first several battles (3 through 6 or so) during the contest the damage will record as normal, then after that, no matter what battle mode I am in, even when following all requirements of the contest, the damage will record as 0 damage for the battle. The contest notification will show up at the top of the screen and will show +0 and add no points to my total.

By the way, I beat all 3 of Triton's towers, as well as plenty of PVP with only Oceanic, and only have about 36000 damage recorded to show for it

The same thing is happening on the Gargoyles Damage Leaderboard contest. This time it started not counting damage on the third time battling with Gargoyles.

I have tried it on a completely different device, but it's still not recording the new damage
