Different upgrade costs for the same character

Hello, can you please explain why these 2 players have different gold costs to upgrade the same toon to 7 stars?s?

    It really sucks that all of my gold star upgrade/enchantment prices are 1.5x other players.

    4-5 stars with drastically different costs. @MeatheadMilitia

    I am also part of the players that have higher cost when upgrading and buying stuff from the shop...
