Balancing and PVP

Hello, i have encountered quite some "issues" in game play... I think a lot of characters are really below average (hook for example is unplayable) i think a good relook on this is needed.
Shan Yu is completely OP and honestly makes no sense at this stage because speed is completely unbalanced in the game. A wide range of characters have speed 100 at basically any star level or tier level so this is already a big issue for 2 reasons:
1- in pvp and all game modes it's completely random who plays first and sometimes you just lose because a complete team start before you based on rng. There should be a limit here of consecutive characters per player in the first rounds all my characters 100 speed are behind the opponents which are also at 100 speed
2- shan leadership brakes the above even more.

Speed is key in this game and characters can't all end up at the same speed limit until tier 6 (probably?). There has to be an incremental change in stars and tier otherwise it is just luck and rng which is in my opinioni taking a lot out of the game.

    let's rework or redesign some existent characters to upgrade the game experience( Hook and elastic girl, as an example, do not have any reasonable sense of being played), creating a wider variety of team compositions; always keep thinking about to add more characters, the potential is huge...

    Then the PvP experience is wholly based on speed meter and speed itself, thus that any match is compromised by Shan Yu leader's ability, which makes it unplayable since it is a permanent choice in the opponent roster. It would make sense to nerf him and maybe introduce a list of weekly banned characters or a pick and ban phase...
    Moreover, the matchmaking system often matches rosters with totally different power levels and trophies...

    I agree to an extent, because characters like Pocahontas can manipulate speed and counter Shan Yu. The biggest issue in this game especially among higher level teams, is completely unbalanced spells! Meta teams are constantly using 4 tank teams with Simba and Scar to stall matches until their spells kill the other team. This is a major balancing issue! This causes matches to become spell vs spell and makes characters unimportant. I understand the purpose of having the spell abilities in the game, but they shouldn't be the main focus of the team. They are meant to assist in battle, but the current system allows mass overuse. I believe changing the current system so that spells could only be used once per battle would greatly fix the problems. They should be team support not the team crutch! This would also address the Wild Imagination spell issue that has plagued many of my club mates as well. The lack of mass cleansing in the game has led to this spell taking out whole 7* teams by itself. The only way to cleanse the team is with Magic Wand, because no game character has a full team cleanse ( which is a whole separate issue!) The ability to spam the spell once the dots expire is another example of why this current spell system is not beneficial to the life span of this game.
