This past week the game has become almost unplayable. Seems to be either taking so long to load that it is constantly freezing up. This is happening when scrolling or pushing a button.
This game has a persistent connectivity issues since launch. I wonder if it's related. Happens both on and off wifi.

I'm experiencing the EXACT same thing.
I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro and I JUST updated to Android 14, which I think THAT is the problem!!!
Before updating to Android 14, the game ran flawlessly!
The SECOND I downloaded Android 14, the game became SO incredibly super duper slow & laggy!!!
I believe they need an update for Android 14!
Maybe, somebody dropped the ball?

I confirm this behavior on both Pixel 7 and Pixel tablet - both running on Android 14.
Extreme lags in every single menu. Trying to start a pvp match takes several minutes - by the time the fight starts it is already halfway trough and obviously lost in most cases.
While in a match everything runs smooth... so maybe this is related to the fancy "Forced Ads"
