What is the Hot Pitcher skill, just curious (Danny Duffy)? I rarely upgrade pitchers since my former POM at 360 max still have era less than 1.00, so it has probably been around for a while and I just never noticed. I am also firmly in the camp that pitcher skills only matter for team strength, not game play.

I was also able to beat Nolan Ryan with Musial with 9 straight hits and 0 outs. I noticed not difference in pitches when the score changed. My only question with Blow out skill is does it work in the 10th inning if it was tied. I have a small sample size, but blow out didn't seem to work as well for me if I went extras. It…

The only value I would see for them, for a diamond team, is if you wanted them as keepers. You could get a couple and take the rest of the season off. Use them the first couple of weeks next season and then ditch them.

I also got Stan "the Man" Musial. I always seemed to come up short when chasing Boog Powell, Jim Edmunds, John Kruk, ect. He will now be my HOF WOH closer. I use both of those skills with Adam Frazier and he has had no issues today. It is always lit, like it should work

I like it for walkoff. I don't believe skills turn off in WOH, so I believe it to be active the hole time, even if you foul off a pitch. The guys I use with it perform as a would expect them to with the skill being active.

If you have the sluggars, I would recommend endlessly cycling Slugfest. Decent bxp comparatively and you could really fill up on evo in the new evo shortage.

Sorry, late to the discussion here. I leave my club first time ever on Monday and join the forum group for WOH event and the club takes 1st. Its the only time I can remember actually having fun in the game in months(Since the Ring the Bell Phillies Box). So, its probably my fault they changed the rules.
