Stuck!

I've been playing the game for a while and then decided to restart, which I've done a few times before so it's not new to me, but suddenly now I can't do anything in the first scene. My character is not wearing the dress on the red carpet and there is no interviewer to click on to actually start the game. What do I do? I've purchased a lot in there and if I delete the app it will go away, or is there a way to regain it if I do?
