I am Level 20, A-lister with 70M+ fans. All I can do is do movies, go out on dates (no proposals even if relationship status is already 5000, no Max till now, his secretary just says they are not getting new people to tepresent while Max just sits in his office, no invite to any party, no Charlene since Level 10, only news about me on Star News is after I make movies and after my movie opens, so many locked gates and doors etc.
Wy is everyone else getting married and all whilst nothing seems to be happening to me? Do I need to reinstall the game and if so, do I lose my progress?

Can you remember the last goal you had? Have you done a film called open mike? Also have you checked in with Charlene & Arnie? As sometimes you need to go see them for further story lines. If need be try levelling up. As certain storyline require a certain level.
It is odd that you haven't been invited to the party as of yet. But a user named Shiro hasn't yet either, so you aren't alone
You can successfully remove the game & keep your game on an apple device by doing the following;
• Delete the app
• Select Keep to game files
• go to App Store
• download app
When you launch the game after it has been installed, it will have a loading bar that will reset a few times. Do not panic it's meant to do that, eventually it will load & it will be exactly as you left it

Try leveling up to get more goals. Also make sure you have the latest update.
Are you dating a game center or facebook friend? At the moment you cannot get married to either of them.
You will get a goal for filming Time Alien and Oscar Mike. Then you will be invited to the party where you will meet Max.
If you have iOS, reinstalling should not lose your progress as long as you choose 'KEEP' before deleting the game. More details here. For other devices, it's been hit or miss for people who reinstall.
Note that devices such as Android and Kindle still have many lingering bugs.
If nothing else works, I would recommend sending in a ticket so they can investigate your issues.
I actually did get into that party, but I was level 23 when it happened.

Possibly, or I possibly could have gotten the same situation as McDelgado back in the day. I remember a time when nothing happened to me as well, and I was stuck at level 19 for months because filming over and over and doing nothing else was such a pain. I think this fixed for me when the Vegas update came out because now my game is on a roll (though it took me a while to get the party still).
So yeah, don't freak too much, just follow our advice and hopefully things will work out.
