Stuck on the Late Night Show Set?

So I completed a movie and then Charlene called saying I had an interview on the Late Night Show right after. I did the interview, then closed the game cause I had to go to work. Hours later, I reopened the game and I'm still on the Late Night Show set but it's empty and there's no exit button to get back on the regular street. How do I get out? I tried shutting down the app and reopening it but I'm still stuck on the set!

Nevermind, was able to solve it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app!
