Missing Snake

I've been jumping through hoops to find this dang snake. I even got reemed out by Maria! Now I've been told a guy saw the snake going toward his tavern but that was all he said! How do I know where to go from here?! Which tavern? Where is it?

It's in Malibu, but when I went there there isn't any snake, you have to wait the next week for the continue of the story
