I just had a thought. Has anyone tried calling for a date while they're in the casino? Maybe you have to be in Vegas before your fiance will suggest eloping? (I can't imagine the developers making it that specific, but I figured it might not hurt to try. And I'm already on a date Downtown, or I'd try it myself.)

And she's like "good job blah blah blah whatever go talk to your fiancé about the wedding" so okay it giveas me a task called "I the wed" saying I need to speak to my husb. Abt the wedding. Ok I did guys so I broke up with my fiancé nd dated someone else then he propose to me in las vega nd after I got the love bar filled up a heart pop up nd he said it time so Charlene called she sent me to meet up with wedding planner then we pick a place it could be Las Vegas or Tahiti but Tahiti is like 30 stars so after I pick the place I went to meet him there got my wedding dress nd said I do so I think u suppose to get engage now with the new update
I was engaged before the update. After the update, I wasn't at 2500 yet (or even 2499) so I kept going on dates. Finally, I went to my fiance's house (while i still had maybe 2000 pts with him) and he asked me if I wanted to get married. I figured it was a bug since we were already engaged but once I left his place, I got a call from Charlene about the wedding planner and the entire wedding adventure sprung into place. My advice is to go to your fiance's house and talk to him!
Also, I did my wedding in Tahiti. It was 65 stars...not sure it was worth it, it was over so quick!
I've found out that you can't be dating anyone else at all, like no heart points for anyone. I went through my phone and broke up with anyone that had a heart that wasn't my fiancé and I was finally able to get married.

Well, that took forever and a day, and when I finally finished and went back to my date, he just asked me to marry him again. Honey, we're already engaged. And he's still stuck at 2499.
ETA: Oh, thank heaven, it finally worked! I exited the game and just let it sit for a while, and then I came back in and went back to the date and now I'm working on the wedding planning quest.
So, now that we're married, he shows up in all of my apartments and houses. (But you didn't give us a wedding ring? I'd like it if my character could wear a wedding band instead of that huge rock on her finger.) Though he's still stuck at 2499? I don't know. Does this mean I don't have to date him anymore? I don't want to have to worry about my husband divorcing me because I'm not dating him.
You should be okay. My husband keeps asking me to go on dates and I keep declining him. I've done that 3-4 times. He still hasnt dumped me. In fact, I went on a date and he is still with me haha.
Do you have to break up with your ex's too? (as in I still have hearts with my ex's but the heart meter has a broken heart meaning that we've broken up) I broke up with everyone and have 0 hearts with everyone except my two ex's. Does this matter?
