I have a problem with saved game on different devices

I always play game on my ipad; however, yesterday I downloaded and played on an Iphone 4. Because I logged in my iD in game center so I continued to play the game without restarting or replaying. Today when I play again on the Ipad i found out that what I played on I4 has not been saved. I earned quite a lot of cashes and xp on I4. I haven't checked the I4 yet because that is my mother's phone so she brings it to work. This evening I will check whether the data has been kept on I4. If so from now I am only be able to play on I4 or I have to accept the fact that I will lose what I earned on I4 if I play on ipad? Please advise me. Thank you!

    Also try saving to your iCloud. It has been confirmed by an admin that you can play on multiple devices of the same platform, so maybe you need to update your iCloud.

    If anything though, I would advise sticking to one device and only switch over if you are permanently switching.
