Who's computer made?

I want to find someone to marry and I know I read that I can't marry another game centre friend. How do I know who's computer made? Most of my contacts have a rank number. Do computer made characters have a rank # under their star rating?

    All the people you meet in bars, restaurants etc will be in-game characters. They will have the option to network or flirt with. A Game center/facebook contact usually has the options Send gift, say hello or cancel when speaking to them in locations :)

    As for knowing the difference when going through your contacts, the in-game contacts are found under the All Friends Tab in your contacts :D and yes the in-game characters do have ranks:3
