I get the idea of mystery boxes, but provide us some actual odds of getting the players, so we can make informed decisions. Based off what I have done my guess signature/legend players are given about 1%-2% of the time. That is terrible odds. Make the chances someone reasonable ie 10%-15%
Few Suggestions, Give players secondary positions (ie Kris Bryant can play 3B, or OF) just like in real life. Maybe even allow SS to play 2b or 3b (common change in real baseball) Allow Platooning- I you can do different batting orders vs Lefties and Righties but Left hand vs right hand seems to have significant advantage…
I agree but its a tough fix, if its a club and most members put up 1mil for an event then the bottom member puts up 100k is that really fair. I would understand why they didn't think you contributed enough. and might not "Deserve" the rewards. Its all relative. Maybe a club should have to have a posted minimum contribution…
The ratings can be somewhat deceiving. This because it averages ALL of your players. Many teams look worse because they have all 1 star guys with nothing but 1-2 ratings on their bench, however most of their starters are primes or better. This brings down their averages but since they never sub the bad guys don't play it…
They do eventually get better. I am at legend level (2nd highest) and don't get late round draft picks any longer. Now that doesn't mean they are helpful. I still get a lot of 2nd round picks, so none of those are at all helpful. The only helpful reward for me is gold which I probably get 5% of the time.
It was not a 50/50 shot.... It might list 8 outcomes but not all outcomes have an equal chance of occurring. Typically you end of with cash or a the worst player shown. I would say that's at least 80%-90%. To get the top reward it is usually 2%-5% of the time.
Sometimes rankings can be a little deceiving. For instance keep my bench as super ****py players all one start with rankings of 1-2 in every category. My actual line up is almost all signature/legend/signature legend. So often my 1-9 lineup is better than my opponents but my overall ranking is the same or worse because the…
I think it once said that a #1 draft pick would yield a 5* player about 2% of the time so actually statically if you opened 45 you are statistically unlikely to get a 5* player
I was able to get banks, in fan reward (total stud Homers ever 3 ab's) but my guess is the teams that have multiple basically cheat and have a ton of gold from it and got them all in fan reward. As far as I can tell this has been the only one to get one thus far.
Correct, and if you were just promoted and thus don't have to deal with playoff games if they simply autoplay and your team is good, you could max even quicker.... That being said if you don't want to be playing a game where you know there is cheatin' I'd find a new game.
If you max out which even with forfeiting playoff games takes about 2 hours you end up with 417000. So if one person started right away and just maxed 500k is easily achieved.
Depending on how they have their database set up its likely difficult to do. I am assuming that the position is a 1-1 relationship meaning that each player can only have one position. In theory they could create a Jose Rameriz and have him be a 3b. Then people that already have Jose Rameriz would have him be a SS and those…
Look at some of the other top legend players Brett Boone, Albert Belle, Rich Aurilia, Orlando Cabera, Orlando Cepeda, and Dusty Baker are all among the best players in the game.
Or at least have you work for it, A regular video games sells between 60-70 dollars. Then you can work towards building a great team without having to spend more. So double to get a great team seems to make some sense.
I agree with this 100% in theory it takes $300+ to guarantee a legend. I would think it should be $5 dollars or so. The problem is the simple math. Somewhere out there, there are people willing to spend the $300. It would take 60 people like me willing to spend the 5 bucks for them to replace the 1 person willing to spend…
I think some of it also has to do with random chance. From my experience on average it was about 25-30 total boxes. Rarely I got lucky and got a legend/ signature player in 4-5 attempts, other times I used 40-50 boxes.
If you have some sense and patients you could do it during fan rewards, Every 55k you would get an additional Legend that you wouldn't need to get through a box thus cutting this down by about 1/3 so you would only need to spend closer to 35k
