Latest tally on my list:
1-star = 229
1.5 = 149
2 =152
2.5 = 119
3 = 124
3.5 = 123
4 = 117
4.5 = 82
5 = 77
Which gives me 1172 total. I think I am about 10 players from having everyone identified which = 1182

Thanks Scotty - corrected. Will upload each position as I get them complete. I am so close everywhere except relief pitching < those will likely be last
Tanks Lawman. Didn't think so.
I want to share the document online but Google Drive and Microsoft require emails.
Can anybody tell me if this works for them?

Clearly they weight the picks. I kept track of results as did someone else and the results were strikingly similar (no pun intended). 1%/9%/30%/30%/30%. In other words, for Late Round that is 1% 3-star, 9% 2.5 star and 30% each for 2-, 1.5- and 1…
The odds for starting pitching sure appear ****py, with 26 5-star starting pitchers you would think it would be easier. I liked one guys idea to get all the late rounders thru the draft then go with drafting by position, but there are so many pitch…
Wow, thats fantastic. I have never had a perfect game, much less many complete games.
Faced him once. 6 innings 4.5 ERA, 11 K/9 1.13 WHIP.
There are 6 pitchers I have faced I seem to have real trouble with; the obvious David Price, Drew Smyly an…

Bravoman, I still get stumped on how Glu rates some of the players. I find 7/6/9 is a 5-star starting pitcher (Cueto) and 6/7/9 is a 4.5-star for SR (Street) which is why I am not sure so if you have the stats I thank you.
Speaking of all of this …
I have a confirmed 975 players at 4 and below (which includes 215 at 1-star) and 197 players that show up on MLB.com that have not shown up yet in Tap Baseball (I believe they are all 3-stars and below).
Here are some numbers to match solarmen's recommendation. Based on this Coco Crisp is the lowest rated player based on what is available and since Ellsbury isn't far behind it seems trying to get a better OF is a good move.
C - Yadier Molina 3rd …
Sorry I didn't answer your question with my above response. I will blame ADD.
There are 40 4.5 and 5-star Starting Pitchers to the best of my ability to figure it out.
There are between 213 and 235 total Starting Pitchers which means 17-19% are 4.…
It is so hard to say because Glu skews the lower players in any draft. I have started from the bottom and only made about 200 picks so far. The results? very similar to what redbird found with the #1 picks
1-star = 68 or 33%
1.5-star = 64 or 31%
…
Been collecting player info a while and need less than 200 lower level players or so to publish the results.
If Glu doesn't skew the results of picks here is what I am estimating:
5-star = 71 players
4.5-star = 68 players
4-star = 116 players
3.5-s…
I would also consider that Santana is a switch hitter which means his batting is probably better than the number 4 indicates. take a look at the batting average versus R and L handed pitchers. Finally, are these numbers against the same quality pi…
I have had dry spells as well, just have to remember baseball is a game of averages. I have also had spells where I had 3 players hitting over .400 so it tends to work out over time. Also remember the game is about timing of your "swing" so I can …
