I already tanked my first match to setup up the remainder of the event & had a cakewalk for match 2. Then wake up to see its changed and my opponent has almost 16 million, since I dont feel like chasing that number, now I've got to tank a 2nd time. Kind of a petty issue i know, it's just 1 extra CvC, but us solo clubs have…
By that reasoning...the '20 model is also not about Prime games, Slugfest, or Tournaments. So what should be a 5 event variety is relegated to 1 if you care about club placement. As a solo majors club, I don't, so I hope for better WOH rewards & a chance to accumulate resources. Without that, my interest is minimal
My excitement for this game is all based around WOH, so of course it's now very minimal. Did my 3 cycles & threw a B1 Evans in to tap bonus games til I hit Tier6. Fun....
5.10 - D1 Darvish 364 (-6) 5.9 - D1 Greinke 356 (-5) 5.8 - D1 MadBum 336 (-5) An increase this drastic should come with much better tier rewards & cycle rewards. The small LXP bump at 10/20 cycles is not enough. More frustration. FYI - still beat it with no boosts, but x-factors seem to be almost essential now
Looks like Choi is not in the starting lineup. The one who should've has the easiest path to becoming 500+. Just need a multiple RBI game for Turner & this promotion went well.
Glu CS was in for a fairly calm weekend by their standards. Assuming FP pass works, they would've just had to deal with the usual "waaa... I bought 3 boxes & didnt get a Legend". Now they just brought on a shitstorm from all corners of the globe. Gluttons for punishment has never been more apt.
The small bump in LxP is something. The skills on both are more than functional, but @ 15% prime & 5% legend odds, you'll have to go D7 minimum & be lucky to cycle cap...and that's all under the assumption you do 25+ cycles. If Dusty was 510, a bit more desirable. Not sure how to play this out...
My solo majors club finished 15 & I took a top 25 in MVP with a bronze1 Larkin & POTM Freeman & JRam. And even slow playing for points, I still plodded my way through 10 cycles. It was actually a somewhat fun way to play WOH. A good return on investment is always a rewarding accomplishment.
Why would you feel a Gold capped lineup could/should beat Diamond level WOH? This complaint fell apart very quickly after seeing that screenshot. When people say they have a Gold capped lineup, that means that their team level & player level go no higher than Gold & they face Gold level pitchers at the highest tier.
Is blue cash a difficulty for Diamond players? Or more so lower tiers? I've been Diamond since wayyyy early in the season & I can't seem to lose cash. Over 60mill currently
If they think that announcement will generate excitement among the community, it's just another HUGE sign of how disconnected they are from what we expect at this point in the season. Pretty sure 90% would rather pay pxp costs with a chance that player may bump to 490-500 (still meh). 460 is an instant trade-in
