Not too early with an ATG pitcher, although you never know. Totally agree on keeper relievers. Not worth it. They just don’t pitch enough. Made the same mistake.

I’ve mostly stayed away from Moments just as a way to save money (one less thing to spend on). But as a Moments newbie, I have a dumb question. The Moments boosts only apply to players on that team, right? So if I have the Scherzer moment, it only works for my Dodger batters?

I know it is trite to complain about WOH, but jeez, is a 440 prime the best they can do? If 520 legends are at the curve, then we have 500 legends, then keepers/POTWs/POTMs, then 480 legends, then 460 primes, then 450 primes…I mean, Glu can’t give us a better reward than a player 6 levels below the curve? Six???

Free gold is good. No complaints here, although I did pull a statistically unusual number of dinger tickets as compared to actual gold.

The problem is people will buy them. So nothing changes. I’m just waiting for a third skill to pay for, or a Y factor, or whatever the next money sucking idea they come up with will be.

I spent about 8k, and pulled Cease, Waino, Abreu and Dalbec. Wasn’t worth it to me to spend more chasing Cron, Ray and the others. Pretty happy with the haul. No repulls of anyone, though.

Pitchers have always been a vanity project, mostly good for building TS and little else. My prime Gilbert with skills leveled modestly has a .06 ERA. Although once baseball season ends, the boxes tend to be a little kinder. I can’t remember if the odds improved but if not, my luck miraculously improved once the World Series was over.

I’m in the same place. In the past three years or so of serious playing, I have never missed a level of legend—I have always had at least one at every level released (from 480 to 610). 480 in TSB21 seems likely to be my first miss. The odds are just so brutal this year.

I’m with you. The 100k guarantee isn’t for me but why shouldn’t it be there for those who do spend that much? It’s ridiculous not to have it, let alone to have it and then take it away. Last year I hit Ted Williams on the pity timer (third time through), so I usually end up convincing myself that it’s going to happen again. Of course, it never does.

I heard that first pitch is not working in TSB21, that it doesn’t stay on in WOH like it does in TSB20. Any truth to this?

All signs point to an event tomorrow, if not all of next week. With TSB21 not even available (via conventional means) in the US yet, I doubt everyone will be up and running for a Monday event in the new version.

I still think the double vRHP is the best skill in the game for keepers. Lots of people hating on it but it plays well in almost every event. There are just so many RHPs. Are we pretty sure at this stage that there won’t be a bump past 610? Seems like it (especially because the March 2020 counter only goes to 14) but trying to ration out my remaining gold.
