Anyone else disappointed by the recent trend of only 1 regular non-ATG legend per event box? Legends are the only players that help me, 1 per box with Glu's tendency to put meh or weak skills on them just seems incredibly boring. Jackie was a bonus every event for the first 2 weeks he was available, and last weekend as well. I don't see a need to bring race into this.

Jackie's skills are definitely not solid. 1- he will never be a WOH closer, only mid rounds, and those are super easy to sim with less costly players 2-only 1 active CVC skill - and that's assuming it doesn't turn off as soon as you score 3 runs 3-you will only ever have 1 active skill in all other modes. I still believe in blowout. Ted Williams is a beast in WOH, wins 95% plus without even video boosting. Also loving Dwight Evans (vs lefty and blowout) for Babe. If blowout turned off/on I'm pretty sure my record in extra innings wouldn't be perfect with these players.

@drsmartassphd after all your months of playing woh you are still trying to read into sequencing? Stop wasting your time, the sequence means nothing. One time you were scripted to win and one time you were scripted to lose. There is no skill or strategy to this event besides capping your players.

They have no idea what motivates a lower/mid tier spender like myself. More trash event boxes. They sure didn't read my complaints about the BF deal that was basically the exact same garbage. They missed out on lots of sales from me this weekend, that's for sure.

I'm thinking this is everyone's last chance to grab Jackie. Tomorrow he will disappear from boxes and be replaced by Lou Gehrig. Then in two weeks Ted will end up in a box by himself similar to Jackie. I like the last chance to grab the ATG if you haven't already pulled them. Good idea.

I was looking forward to the Black Friday deals, willing to spend cash. Just saw the pop up deal. 25k gold is great, but all those trash event boxes made it easy to click cancel in about 3 seconds. Replace the garbage event boxes with mega LXP boxes and Glu would have got my $100. I swear ever since the cool down timer…

@More2Most2First I know the leadoff skill shows highlighted in WOH. I haven't tested it on late rounds myself, but others have and the reported results have not been encouraging. Have you tried a leadoff skill player on the final rounds?

If you had just done it 1-2 months ago you wouldn't need to spend money to get there. With WOH as your main focus it's just nuts you are still silver. Good luck though, I do wish you the best moving forward.

Got it done in gold. Can't autoplay past 6.5 anymore. Need video boosts on 6.6-6.9, previously only on 6.9.
