Skills not activating when they should.

Progressing through platinum and I noticed this. Boggs has double right handed skill. Kluber is a right handed pitcher and Bogg’s skills are not activated. Is this happening during WOH too??? We can’t ever tell because it doesn’t show the skills after the beginning.

I had this happen with one of players. He had the rhp skill and lay innings skill. The late innings skill wasn’t active and it was the 8th inning. I contacted support and they just told me it was random and this is how the game is designed. I only had it happen with one player.
