I feel that platinum is the worst level to have a team. Cost a lot more to maintain a strong team for WOH and CVC when compared to the gold level. I would only go to platinum if you plan to eventually move to diamond. Then only level up guys that you would want to take to diamond with you.
If you don’t plan on going eventually to diamond, I would stay at gold.
I agree with @rmouse511 a lot of guys on here who have moved up go straight through Platinum to Diamond. I personally like to sit at a level for awhile and stack resources. If your winning most your games at gold I would just stay and stack.
Depends on what you want. I jumped to Platinum when I "shouldn't have," but it's giving me an extra challenge and another reason to grind rather than sitting around capping new players left and right for little reason 🤷🏻♂️
