This skill in the test I have done doesn’t  kick in after a successful steal !  To me it should !!

Interesting. If it doesn't, then it probably means the game locks in the player's rating at the start of the at-bat. Definitely seems like something they should address.

For many game modes(prime/bgs/tourneys/season mode, etc.), skills have always been buggy. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Sometimes, it will display the skills active, but the boost isn't reflected in the ratings. It's definitely a hot mess. The only ones that really know are the devs, but unfortunately, CS is the only life line that most of us have.
