Is TSB 2018 still active and monitored and how long does the previous version typically stay active?

It's active. No updates, no bonus players, but it's still playable. I'm not sure that it ever really "goes away"

In ‘17 game, everything is gone except for Season mode and annoying pop-ups to buy gold that you really can’t use any on. Happened in last few of months. ‘18 game will probably be playable for quite a while.
