PSA: VIPs, please send in a ticket about the newsletter

A friend alerted me and so far, most people are receiving a response similar to me. It strongly implies that we would've been missing out had we assumed everything to be peachy.

    What do we need to send them? We have to sign up for it again?

    @JEDDDOGGY Myself and others just sent in a ticket to ask if we needed to sign up for '19's newsletter.

    Ah! They took like 18 days to get me added last season. Hopefully they aren’t that slow about it this time.

    Thank @Houmy. In my haste, I overlooked the most obvious step. Hopefully, one of them can shed light on the matter. I still think it'll be fine either way, but it feels like an unnecessary 'risk' given the response that we're getting.

    @dfbb used to be you had to give them your email to get the VIP gifts and newsletter and also transfer your VIP status to the new version. Seeing that VIP transfers automatically now, for most anyway, the gifts would probably be sent automatically.

    @Houmy That was my assumption as well. I brushed it off initially, but everyone kept getting a similar response. Then, I too, got the response I posted. And well, here we are.

    @dfbb if something had to be done I am sure the VIP team would have emailed everyone or posted it in the last 18 newsletter as that is what they used to do. Wait & see I guess.

    Come to think of it I did receive an email from the VIP team a few days ago. It wasn't the newsletter and rather just an announcement for 19 being out and confirming that VIP grandfathers. Anyone that received newsletters before should have received it as well.

    Those that became VIP after the last newsletter went out should have emailed CS to add their names to the list though.

    Yea I got that last week, as well as the VIP gift on launch day, (xp and a gold pick)

    Then all should be good for those that were already getting the newsletter and only new VIP should contact CS to add their email to the newsletter. Probably CS just answering based on old information.

    Told me that everything was good to go just to send them your email to confirm where you want the newsletter sent
