App crashes when I start a game in Sprint Event

in Tap Sports Baseball 2019 Bulletin Board
 Everytime I start a game on my iPad Pro  in Sprint event it gets to 90 then crashes. It messes up a streak big time! I have 10 GB of free space so I know that’s not it.
 Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

    Btw, my iPhone works perfectly.

    Trying clearing the cache and see if that helps and if not then I would suggest a clean install but only at your own risk as some have had trouble relinking their accounts and it may take a lot of CS tickets to get back in on the iPad. Residual code gets stuck in the cache or app files sometimes and leads to crashes on subsequent tries.
