I am going to be getting a new phone and was wondering if there was a back up process I need to do or is it just a matter of downloading and logging in using my email? Does it back up Everytime I close the app?
As long as you have it registered to your email account it should restore everything but you should start a ticket in advance and let CS know you're changing devices as GLU does have the one device per account policy so getting restored on a new device is going to take some time and help from CS.

@Houmy shockingly when I changed phones this last time it took them less than 4 hours for me to be able to play again on my new phone. I was very pleased
If you use iOS and have Game Center as long as you have your carrier transfer everything over on their magic doohickey you’ll be able to start right up like nothing ever happened
